Robert Stark '61

Robert Stark PhotoRobert Stark, Class of 1961, was a three-sport standout in football, basketball and baseball, earning seven varsity letters during his Badger High School career. He was a starter in all three sports his junior and senior year. During his senior year, the football, basketball and baseball teams all won conference championships. He was named to the first team All-Southern Lakes squad his senior year in football. Upon graduation, Robert earned six varsity letters in just two years at Beloit College. His sophomore year, he started on the football, basketball and baseball teams. After two years, he transferred to Northern Illinois University and earned two letters in football and one in basketball. During his senior year in football, he was named NIU’ s MVP and was a first team All-Interstate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection. He was the leading Illinois collegiate receiver and ranked in the top ten in the nation. Robert went on to play two seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Hartford Charter Oaks and Chicago Bears.

Inducted into the Badger Athletic Wall of Fame in 2003.
