The Academic Bowl is on Monday, February 19th! Come cheer on the Badger High School team!

- What: The 2024 Southern Lakes Conference Academic Bowl
- Where: Burlington High School
- When: Monday, February 19, 2024 -- The Oral portion of the competition is open to the public and begins at 5:20 PM in the auditorium. An awards ceremony will follow the oral competition. The event is expected to end by 7:30 PM.

*note: Badger's team will leave BHS by 3:00 PM and should return by 8:00PM. The written exams will begin after the welcome introduction (3:45-4:45) and are closed to the public. The oral competition will begin after dinner at approximately 5:20 PM in the Burlington auditorium.

The Academic Bowl consists of individual assessments in social studies (geography, US history, world history & civics), science (biology, chemistry, physical science & physics), math (algebra, algebra II, geometry & advanced mathematics), and language arts (American literature, British literature, world literature & potpourri). Once the individual assessments are completed, students then become a 4-person team in either social studies, science, language arts, mathematics or current events, to score team points in the oral competition. Final placement of each school is determined by adding their combined individual assessment scores with their team scores.
