Scott Hintz, Class of 1972, was a three-sport standout in football, wrestling and tennis, earning nine varsity letters during his Badger High School career.
He was a two-year varsity football player, being selected to the All-Conference team both years and named co-captain during his senior year.
On the wrestling mat, Scott was two-time Conference Champion, two-time Regional Champion, Sectional Champion and a State Champion in 1972 at 132 pounds with a 31-1 record. He lettered all four years of wrestling and was named Team Captain during his senior campaign.
As a key member of the tennis team, Scott was the undefeated Conference Champion in #2 doubles during his junior year, and #1 doubles during his senior year.
He continued to compete in wrestling and tennis in college. He placed 6th in Nationals and was two-time conference champion in wrestling and was voted MVP in wrestling and tennis.
Inducted into the Badger Athletic Wall of Fame in 2001.
