Weston (Wes) Lagerhausen, Class of 2008, is considered one of the best swimmers to graduate from Badger High School. While at Badger High School, he was four-year varsity letter winner. Wes was a 5-time state champion and held the state record in the 200 Freestyle for 8 years. Nine-times he finished in the top three in various events at the WIAA State Swim Meet. Wes holds 7 school records and was a 3-year captain of the swim team at Badger High School. Wes was an integral part of the 2007 and 2008 Conference Championship teams, and the Sectional Championship team in 2008. He was honored by being named the Division 1 Swimmer of the Year after both his Junior and Senior years. Wes attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison on scholarship and was a member of the men’s swim team for 4 years. He was a 2-time team captain for the Badgers and is a member of the 800 free relay team that still holds the record at the University of Wisconsin. Wes currently resides in Waukesha, WI.
