Wilbert Kennedy, Class of 1984, was a 3 sport standout while at Badger High School. Wilbert earned 2 varsity football letters, 2 varsity wrestling letters, and 3 varsity letters in baseball while attending Badger High School. Wilbert was a team leader serving as captain of the football, baseball and wrestling teams. He earned All Conference recognition in football during his junior and senior seasons, as well as earning All Conference honors in baseball his senior year. Wilbert was a WIAA State Qualifier in wrestling, leading the team in wins during the 1982-83 season. Wilbert continued his athletic success attending UW-Stout where he was a 4 year letterman on the football team. During his time at Stout, Wilbert was named Honorable Mention All Conference in the WSOL in 1986, and 2nd Team All Conference during the 1987 and 1988 seasons while earning Preseason All American recognition prior to the 1988 season. Wilbert continued playing football with the Racine Raiders earning All American honors 10 times, and being a Midwest Football League All Star on 4 occasions. Wilbert continued to impact the Lake Geneva community by coaching youth football with the Lake Geneva Cowboys. Wilbert currently resides in Burlington, Wisconsin.
