Peter Krien, Class of 2013, was a two-sport standout in football and baseball during his time at Badger High School. He earned three varsity letters in football and three varsity letters in baseball. Peter also participated in wrestling his freshman year and finished his season with an impressive 30-9 record. As a baseball player, he was a three-year starter and a two-time selection to the All-Conference 1 st team and All-Region team. Football was where Peter truly stood out from the rest. He was a three-year starter and a two-time team captain. He was selected as the team offensive MVP both his junior and senior years. His senior year, Peter was selected as the Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year. Peter finished his high school football career with 55 touchdowns and is currently the all-time leading rusher at Badger High School with 3,207 yards. Upon graduation, Peter attended UW-LaCrosse and was a member of their football team for four years. He was selected as team captain for the UW-LaCrosse football team both his junior and senior years.
Inducted in the Badger Athletic Wall of Fame in 2023.
