Ian Peterson, Class of 2000, participated in football, wrestling and track in each of his four years at Badger High School.  He was a three-year letter winner and also a three-year defensive team captain in football.  

Peterson was a 1st team all-conference selection on offense and defense for each of the three years that he was a starter on the football team.  He was also an All-State selection his senior year on both offense and defense, In wrestling, Peterson was a two-year letter winner and a conference champion and sectional qualifier his senior year. In track and field Peterson was not only a conference champion in both the discus and shot put, but he was crowned the WIAA State Champion in the discus throw his senior year with a throw of 166'10".  He was a four-year letter winner in track and field as well.  

Ian Peterson currently resides in Genoa City.

Inducted into the Badger Athletic Wall of Fame in 2015.
